Urban | DCCM provided the civil engineering and construction management firm for the ADA compliant Paradise Pond Boardwalk Extension project for the City of Port Aransas. This project connects Joan and Scott Holt Paradise Pond Park through Charlies Pasture Nature Preserve to the City’s Community Park through the local nature preserve via an elevated timber boardwalk and a 1,319-ft concrete sidewalk. This project was funded by TPWD and Local Parks Grant. Joan And Scott Holt Paradise Pond Park is one of only a few wooded natural freshwater ponds on Mustang Island that is recognized as an important stopover for migrating birds along the Central Texas Coast.
